We do accept annual purchase orders and release parts on an as-needed, scheduled basis. In these situations we typically manufacture your spring or wire forms and ship on specified dates.

Q: What is typical lead time for spring, wire form or metal stamping samples?

This varies depending on geometry of the part and the manufacturing processes required. Compression springs, extension springs and torsion springs average approximately 2-4 days turnaround time, while more complex shaped steel springs or stampings can require 4-7 weeks or more. Secondary/finishing operations, such as plating and heating treating may require additional time. Expedited options are available, so please contact fooaima custom manufacturer team for a more specific turnaround estimate.

Q: What is the difference between pitch and the space between the coils?

The pitch is the distance from center to center of the wire in adjacent active coils. The space between the coils, is the distance from end to end of the wire in adjacent active coils.
